What Happens After the Tournament

The tents are down, the scorecards are put away, and the course is quiet again. But the impact of our first annual Charity Golf Tournament is just beginning.

On August 15, 2026, 72 players, dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors, and kind community members came together at Sunland Village East Golf Club in the Gold Canyon / Mesa area. There were carts on the path, foursomes on the green, shaved ice in the heat, raffle tickets in someone’s pocket, and a lot of polo shirts with our name on them. What they created was more than a successful event. They helped build real opportunities for local children and families to experience moments of joy and connection.

We will remember the easy things: the group photos, the laughs, the Hole 9 roast, the people who stayed to help pack up. What we want you to remember is the part that does not photograph as well. Every registration, every raffle ticket, every hygiene item donated, and every hour volunteered turns into something that happens after the last putt.

It becomes a birthday celebration for a child who might not have had one. A family outing that creates a memory. A simple day that reminds a child they matter. That is the whole point of Love and Luck • Love and Smiles. We do not measure success only by what happens on the day of an event. We measure it by the smiles that come afterward.

If you played, sponsored, volunteered, or sent a kind note — thank you. If you meant to be there and life got in the way, there is still a place for you. The first tournament is finished. The work of turning that day into childhood memories is not.
