The Gifts They Keep

Some kids in our East Valley never get a party. Never get the outing. Never get told, today is for you.

Love and Luck • Love and Smiles exists so that changes. We are a Gold Canyon family foundation. We show up for struggling families and underprivileged children with birthdays, family days, and small celebrations every childhood deserves.

There is no such thing as a small gift here. Twenty-five dollars can put candles on a cake. Fifty dollars can move a family toward an afternoon they would have skipped. One hundred dollars can give a child a birthday. Two hundred fifty dollars can carry a full special day — the kind a kid still talks about when they are grown.

When you give, you are not filling a spreadsheet. You are handing a child a memory. Those are the gifts they keep. Not the wrapping paper. Not the receipt. The feeling that someone showed up and said this day is yours.

We keep this work close to home on purpose. Donations stay in Maricopa County. They become birthday help, family outings, and the next yes for a child who hears “not this time” too often. We are a registered 501(c)(3). Kate and Dave answer the phone. If a family reaches out, a person answers.

Every child deserves to be celebrated. Not because they earned it. Because they are children. That is enough.
